April 2020: Stand Together

April 2020: Stand Together

Welcome, April.

It’s been a gloomy past few weeks. Social distancing, concerns for loved ones, and the frenzy of quarantine preparations are overwhelming. In this time, it’s more important than ever to stand together, spread any positivity we can, and support our local heroes and businesses.

Thank essential workers. We are so grateful for our frontline healthcare professionals and support staff, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, police, firefighters, and National Guard. We are also thankful for our grocery store, delivery, restaurant, gas station, janitorial, and financial workers, as well as our teachers, volunteers and all essential workers! Here’s one way you can Thank a Professional: Send a Virtual Card & Gift.

Support local businesses. Now is the time to give back and support our communities. Consider getting delivery or take-out food from your local restaurants, or buying gift cards to use later. Check out this new Michigan-based gift card site, Save MI Faves, to support local, or use eGifter for more virtual gift card options.

Stay active. Engaging in fun activities and exercise are great ways to take your mind off of stressful day-to-day pressures. Every week we are blogging about our Top 3 At-Home Activities. Make sure to check it out so that you can find ways to stay occupied, happy, and healthy.

Pass it on. Our Savings for those who Serve program offers a $250 Visa Gift Card on any closed transaction with Janiga Estates for those who are active or retired Doctors, Nurses, EMT/Paramedics, Police, Firefighters, Teachers, or Military. Contact Us and mention this program to qualify.

Let’s stand together this month,
