November 2021: A Time To Give Thanks!

We are officially in the giving season and the holidays are once again upon us. I always love this time of year because it allows me to take a step back and realize all that I have to be thankful for. Do you ever get hit with an overwhelming feeling of gratitude and happiness? I like to call these gratitude moments and I always use them as a time to check in with myself and how lucky I am. You should give it a try too and see how it feels; especially around this time of year.
How to practice gratitude…
There are a few simple things that you can do that can help to practice gratitude. These can also help you to to make the most out of challenging days.
1.) Journaling. Think of this as a tool to process your deep, knotty mess of thoughts and feelings and write them all down. Journaling works wonders if you are trying to clear your mind.
2.) Connect with nature. Everything about nature has the ability to calm and center us; from the sunshine to the rustling of leaves on the trees. A 20-30 minute daily walk can be a really good option to help if you’re feeling overwhelmed and stressed.
3.) Nourish your body. Making a conscious meal that is full of whole foods and love is a great way to feed your body and nourish your soul.
